How to ask

Email hello@tempestronics.com with the subject line "Delete my data". Tell us what you think we hold: for the website that is usually an email exchange, and for the messaging service it is the phone number you gave a business. We may ask a question to confirm it is your information before we act.

What happens next

1. We confirm we received your request within two working days.
2. We locate the information across our mailbox and, for the messaging service, ask the business you signed up with to delete its records of you, since they hold them.
3. We confirm to you when it is done, within 30 days of your request.

If you only want the WhatsApp messages to stop

You do not need to email. Reply STOP to any message, or tap the Stop messages button. That ends all messages to your number from that business through our service, immediately and permanently.

What we keep

• A record that you asked to stop messages, so your number is never messaged again by mistake. This record contains your number and the date, nothing else.
• Anything we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, for as long as that law requires.
• Copies in backups, which are overwritten within 90 days.

If you are a business that connected a WhatsApp number

Disconnect your number from our app in your Meta Business settings and email us. We remove your account identifiers from our configuration within 30 days. Your customers' records are in your own systems and remain yours.

Information held by Meta

Messages sent through WhatsApp also pass through Meta's systems under Meta's own privacy terms. Deleting information from us does not delete it from your WhatsApp account or Meta's servers; use WhatsApp's own tools for that.
