The front end of a DevSecOps platform

The problem

DFact promised developers a single place to deploy, watch and control the cost of their infrastructure. The platform’s APIs were ready; the interface that would make the promise believable was not.

What we built

A Vue 3 application on PrimeVue with Pinia state management: deployment flows that reduce a release to one click, live performance views and cost dashboards that make spend legible to the people who cause it. The component library and state layer were structured so the client’s team could keep extending it.

What it changed

The platform shipped with an interface that matched its ambition, and the client’s engineers inherited a codebase they could build on rather than one they had to decode.
